Poison dart frogs (or poison arrow frogs) are found in central and south america. Their venom is due to a distilation from the insects they eat in nature. Captive bred frogs are not poisonous.

Enrichment Day For Polar Bears!

The day we went to the Oregon Zoo, it happened to be enrichement day for the polar bears! They brought in a bunch of snow, and a huge "snack popsicle" for them. As you can tell by the photo, they loved it!! Here is a clip of Polar Bear Fun!. The Polar Bear handler says they roll around in the snow because they use it as a squeegie to squeegie the water out of their fur in the wild. This clip shows one of the polar bears trying to get at the goodies in the Polar Bear Popsicle.
